About Us

Called by Dr. Jane Goodall’s philosophy, the Jane Goodall (Beijing) Center was founded in 2006.

The center has established partnerships with a variety of institutes, non-government organizations, schools and communities. With the support and promotion of the center, the Roots & Shoots Program has started from scratch and gone from strength to strength. The office of the Roots & Shoots registered as a Nonprofit organization at Beijing Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs in 2017.

In light of new conditions, the Jane Goodall (Beijing) Center redefined their direction and work, focusing on Experiencing Nature, Back to Africa, and International Exchange, Course Training, etc. We hope through our efforts, we can achieve the harmonious coexistence of mankind with both environment and animals and can promote the communication between Chinese and foreign environmental cultures.
